The 4 preliminary workouts will be scored on a point system with the first place team receiving 100 points, points will decrease incrementally for each subsequent place.  

At the conclusion of the 4th event, the scores will be tallied and the divisions will be represented with the following number of teams for the final:

Scaled Teams:  5

In the event of a tie, the team with the best finish in the Chipper will enter the final.

The final WOD will be announced immediately following the final event (live at the event AND on Facebook). The scoring for the final will be weighted heavier than the other WODs with 1st receiving 100, 2nd=80, 3rd=60, 4th=40, 5th=20. In the event of a points tie following the final, the athlete/team’s finish in the final WOD will determine their final placing.

In the thruster, the barbell moves from the bottom of a front squat to full lockout overhead.  At the bottom of each rep, the hip crease must pass below the top of the knees.  At the top of each rep, the barbell must come to a full lockout ot with the hips, knees and arms fully extended and the bar directly over the middle of the body.  The bar will start on the ground and a squat clean may be used to start the first rep.  The bar must remain on the front of the shoulders during the squat and may not rest on the back.

60m sandbag sprint:
The athlete will carry a sandbag 30m down around a cone and 30m back across the starting line.  If the sandbag is dropped during the sprint portion, all athletes must return to their barbells and perform 5 synchronized burpees.  They may then return to the sandbag and finish the sprint.

The Bar Muscle-up begins with a hang below the bar with arms fully extended and feet off the ground. Kipping is acceptable but heels may not rise above the height of the bar during the kip.  At the top, elbows must be fully locked out while the athlete supports themselves with the shoulders above or in front of the bar.  The lock out may NOT be achieved while the athlete is descending from the top of the movement.

Atomic sit-ups:
The atomic sit-up starts and ends with the athlete standing and holding a plate.  The athlete will sit and touch the plate to the ground in front of their feet, then bring the plate to the ground behind their head, then to the ground in front of their feet before standing with the plate and fully locking the plate out overhead with the hips, knees and arms fully extended.  The feet must remain in contact with the ground at all times.

BF Burpees:
Each burpee must be performed perpendicular to and facing the barbell.  The athlete’s head cannot be over the barbell.  The chest and thighs touch the ground at the bottom.  The athlete must jump over the barbell from both feet and land on both feet.  One-footed jumping and landing or stepping over is not permitted.  The next rep will begin on the opposite side facing the barbell.  Athletes must touch the ground with their chests at the same time before jumping over the bar, the jump does not have to be synchronized.

WOD Description:
At the sound of 3,2,1, GO, one athlete will complete a full round of thrusters, sprint and BMUs (atomic sit-ups) before tagging the next teammate to begin the next round.  The team will continue to alternate teammates and rounds until the 8 minutes has expired.  The order of the teammates must remain the same throughout the WOD. If the sandbag is dropped at ANY time, the entire team must perform 5 synch BF burpees as a penalty.  The score for the team will be total reps.
